A while ago I had said to watch for an upcoming card featuring my newest kiddo stamp... and here he is! I just love the way this one came out, very Christmas-y. My newest obsession - The cottage cutie stamps from Whimsy. Be on the look-out for cards featuring those cuties! They will be coming soon!

November/Thanksgiving Decorations
As promised here are my thanks giving decorations. I actually got a lot of them on clearance from Michael s and Wal*Mart. Thanks for stopping by, tomorrow I will be posting some more cards that I have been working on! :)
Except this! This I purchased from Lena's Creations! This is just to adorable! :) It sits on my kitchen counter as a super awesome decoration.
Musical Angels
This card is something a little different than what I normally do. I usually try to make everything very symmetrical- and this one came out just a little different :) I think it makes it a "fun" card. What do you all think?

Noel
I just love how this card came out! I normally have some sort of design in my head before I put the card together and on this one I kinda just put it together as it came, and I think it came out pretty good! :)

Two Turtle Doves!
I have absolutely fallen in love with the Whimsy Stamps specifically Elisabeth Bell's Cottage Cutie stamps. I just think they're so sweet and adorable!! I love them so much that I actually bought quite a few of them! This one is called "Two Turtle Doves" and was so much fun to color in! I thought that the dimensions would work well with a Side Step Card, and I was right! I love the way this card came out! I hope you guys do too!

Harp Angel
This is another fabulous stamp that I found at Micheal's. I used the Romantic Rectangles Spellbinders to create the border around the image, the paper is from Old World Christmas stack from Hobby Lobby, and the punch and sentiment are from Stamping Up! I believe.

Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween Everyone! I hope everyone out there has a great fun filled and safe Halloween. I know that I have been posting Christmas Cards out the wazoo, but I saved these last two Halloween cards to post today! The first card is one that I made for my Hubby and got the idea from my Mom. The last card is for my parents for Halloween and since my Mom is quite the crafter herself I couldn't very well post this until today! :P

Nutcracker Sweet
This Christmas I really want to go and see the Nutcracker Ballet. I think it would be stunning! This gorgeous ballerina and her nutcracker are from the Graphic 45 "Nutcracker Sweet #1" Set. This is just a fantastic set! There's also a larger nutcracker in the set, and I will be using him very soon too! I used the Spectrum Noir Markers to color in this stamp. I must say my skills with the markers are definitely getting better with practice. :)

Christmas in Paris
I have always found Paris such a fascinating city, and I am determined to go there on of these days. So combining my favorite holiday and a city I hope to see one day was relatively easy! Thanks for stopping by!

Holly Jolly Santa
Who doesn't just love Santa?! I'm getting so excited that we are almost in November and that much closer to Christmas! My favorite holiday! So in the spirit of Christmas Cheer I made this little Holly Holly Santa Card. TFL!

Winter Friends
On one of my Christmas stamp sets I found these cute little Christmas animals, so I put this together and used my Spectrum Noir markers to color them in :)

Poinsettia Christmas
I think Poinsettia's are just beautiful flowers! So in one of my Christmas stamp sets I found these flowers and made a card with them. The green paper is from "Old World Christmas" stack that I found at Hobby Lobby. TFL!

It's been a while...
Wow! I can't believe that last time I posted anything was October 3rd! Sorry for the delay. My husband finally got discharge from the USMC and made it home on the 3rd. I'm so happy to have him home!! So that was the reason for my absence. I have been spending some much needed time with him. :)
On towards cards! I decided to these adorable little elves pink and blue instead of green and red because I thought it'd be something different and I actually really like the way that it turned out! :) I recently got ANOTHER kiddo stamp (The little solider boy) so expect a card featuring him sometime very soon!

Angel Kiddo's
As I stated a few days ago, I just L-O-V-E these Kiddo Stamps from
Stampendous! I have actually ordered another few from this collection.
They're just adorable. Here are two cards made with the same stamp.

Secret Santa
This cute little Secret Santa is also from Stampendous. I used flocking powder on his facial hair, and liquid applique on the trim of his suit. The first card has papers from Old World Stack. The second card's background paper is from Gina K.
TFL!!

Halloween Card - Kitty Kandy Kiddo & Picket Pumpkin
It's OCTOBER already, where in the world has this year gone? I have fallen in love with Stampendous' Kiddo Stamps!! I believe this one in particular is called Kitty Kandy Kiddo. I used her on 2 different cards ( the first one also has Stampendous' Picket Pumpkin's stamp) and I'm still trying to get the hang of the shading with the Spectrum Noir Markers. I had fun with both of these cards! Hope you all enjoy.

Palm Trees & Sunset
While browsing through Theresa Momber's blog, I came across this simple but beautiful card. I decided to make one very similar too it. The rectangle was just created using a scoring board. The colors I used for the sunset are all Memento Inks - Dandelion, Cantaloupe, Tangelo, Morocco, Lady Bug, Love Letter & Rhubarb Stalk. In that order. Thanks for looking!

Poinsettia Card
Spellbinders has a beautiful die cut that creates a Poinsettia. The idea for this card came from Kittie Kraft. This was so much fun to put together. I took advice from this blog and used ink to create dimension in the flower petals and in the leaves. I also used the McGill flower tool set to create a curl and bend in the leaves. I hope you all like this card as much as I do. :)

White & Blue Snowflake Card
This card was created using the JustRite Snowflake Background Stamp. This stamp is just too cool, you can create a wide variety of cards by just using different color inks. I love the way this card came out, however my inspiration came from Sheri Holt. I used a separate snowflake stamp to do the silver embossed snowflakes. TFL!

Heirloom Ornament Cards
I have had so much fun playing with these Heirloom Ornament die-cuts and stamps (from 2010-2011) that I created a variety of cards using them. Some of them are created in traditional colors while others are not. Most of the background papers were from the Paper Studio Old World Winder Paper Pack. Except the last card in the picture - that was created with the Snowflake Background stamp. Enjoy!

Spectrum Noir Markers & Storage
For a while I have been researching alcohol markers and trying to make a decision on which one would be right for me. I ended up going with the complete (all 168) set of Spectrum Noir Markers. I am soo completely thrilled with them!! I can't even express how happy I was to get these in! There's so much I love about them. The colors blend beautifully together, their comfortable to hold, and they're so affordable! Once I received them, I started look at storage options - I took a little bit from everywhere and finally came up with my own little system that works for me. I bought 4 of the small crates from Wal*Mart in black (because it matches the rest of my hobby room) and then used black foam board to create shelves for my markers, then I organized them by the same color families that they are designed with. Included at the bottom is a VERY quick idea of what they look like when you color something in. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Thanks for stopping by!
