A Variety of Cards

These are the latest cards that I have created.
This Wall-E card was actually for my husband, and if you refer to my other blog, you'll see that I made a SpongeBob cake for his birthday too. He's such a kid at heart! :)

I thought that this little fairy was a cute stamp, so I made a card featuring her. :)

This tropical card was for my mom, we are a lot a like when it comes to the paradise, tropical lovin'.

My M.I.L is obsessed with Tinkerbell, so it wasn't hard to come up with a Birthday Card for her. lol

This card design came from Lena Fonkert, and since Easter was right around the corner, I adapted this design to make a few Easter cards.

Giraffe Diaper Cake

This was my first ever Diaper Cake that I had made, I really like the way that it came out. This was for a lady whose baby shower consisted of nothing but giraffes. So I thought this was quite fitting. :)

Paintings - Another hobby of mine

As stated in my personal info, I enjoy doing anything that lets me be creative. That also includes paintings! Here's just a few of the ones that I happened to have pictures of. Enjoy. TFL!

2011 Calender

As a Christmas present (in 2010), I made 2011 Calenders for close family and friends. I had a lot of fun making them, even though this was extremely time consuming! Each of them were slightly different in their own way. My biggest tools in designing these calenders were the Cricut Design Studio, and the Designer Calender Cartridge. I also used various others ones along the way, such as Life's a Beach, and the Mickey & Friends Cartridge. Below is a picture of one set of the calenders that I made.

Hot Pink & Zebra Birthday Card

One of my best friends loves the hot pink, and zebra theme. So, for her birthday I designed a card around that idea and this is how it turned out! :)

Hawaiian Explosion Box

One of my favorite cartridges is the "Life's a Beach" - This is partially because I absolutely love anything tropical/beachy. While crusing online somewhere, I saw this neat little box (source unknown), that was orginally designed with a wedding cake in the middle and they passed these boxes out as wedding favors. I decided to turn it into a box of paradise. The turle in the middle has MULTIPLE layers, and is three dimensional.

Glass Etching - SKELTON

As a Christmas present for one of my close friends, I glass etched her last name into these little votives candle holders. She loved these candle holders. I chose red candles since it was a Christmas Present. After completing this project I wasn't exactly sure how to "wrap" them up and present them as a present. My Mom helped me come up with this box as a cute way to present these candle holders.

Christmas Cards - 2009

Hello All,
I recently deleted a previous blog that I had, and I have added this new one to my Sweet Treats Account (I have another blog that is all baking, if you'd like to view please go to http://www.sweettreatboutique.blogspot.com/) - So the following cards are all Christmas Cards that I had orginally designed in 2009. Enjoy & as always leave me some love :)

The pictures above are the front of a Christmas Card that I designed with ACY Cartridge. The second picture is the inside of that card.

I have a friend whose little boy is in LOVE with the Disney Cars, so I used that cartridge to make this card for his son for Christmas. He absolutely adored it. :)

I love Winne the Pooh Bear, so I made a Christmas card with this cute little guy! Cartridge used was Pooh & Friends.

This believe it or not was my VERY FIRST card that I EVER made using the Cricut - I orginally recieved the Cricut Expression as a Birthday Present from my parents! Best gift ever! ;)

My mom is also a very creative lady, and thanks to her (Lena) - I learned a lot about this wonderful machine, as well as many techniques, and types of designs for cards. This one is called a Tri- Shutter Card.

Just another Christmas Card - This was my first time using Alcohol Inks (This is how the background of the card is colored)

This is another Christmas Card I made. The inside of the card has the greeting embossed, which I think turned out real nice.

This is a "Snow Globe" card that I designed in Design Studio - I just welded the two snow globes together. My orginal inspiration for this card came from my mom, Lena. Her orginal desgin for the snow globe is the picture below - The Texas Snow Man

This is a Stair Card that I made from the Winter Woodland Cartridge.

This is a card that I orginally made for my hubby, when he was deployed for Christmas in Afghanistan.

THANKS FOR LOOKING! :)
