D&D Inspired Card

Hello all!

I hope you take a second and stop by the Dies R Us store because there are SO MANY GOODIES!

Today, I am sharing a card I made for my brother, who is an avid D&D player.

I know I've said it a few times but Karen Burniston's items are SO MUCH fun to play with. This was created with her Surprise Ball Pop Up & The Flap and Closure set.

The other thing I really love about Karen's dies, is that she includes tutorials on how to put these magical things together. For this one you can see it here.

I chose to use my Memento Ink to darken up the embossed lines from the brick. I used Rich Cocoa,  just to give it a bit of depth.

Thanks so much for checking out my card today! I hope you have a great day!
hope that I was able to inspire you to use your dies, create a project, and come play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for your chance to win a gift voucher to the Dies R Us Store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of every month.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.

First Christmas Card of 2020!

Hello all!

I hope you take a second and stop by the Dies R Us store because there are SO MANY GOODIES!

Today, I am sharing a card made with a beautiful Poinsettia set from Impression Obsession!

This set from Impression Obsession is so fun! I love that as you die cut it, it also embosses the pieces for you!

I chose to use my Memento Ink to darken up the embossed lines. I used Rhubarb, and Olive Grove to darkened the edges of the flower, just to give it a bit of depth.

I used gold brad for the center of the poinsettia, and side of the ribbon. I gold embossed the sentiment, and added gold pearl dots to the flower border punch.

Thanks so much for checking out my card today! I hope you have a great day!

Poppy Inspiration

Hello all,

I hope you take a second and stop by the Dies R Us store because there are SO MANY GOODIES!

Today, I am sharing a card made with a Poppy flower. This one was so much fun, as I incorporated a coloring as well. I haven't done one in ages!

The create your own poppy flower by Lawn Fawn was so easy to use! I wanted to add texture to the flower so I put the pieces through my crimper.

I also took the Memento Ink, and darkened the edges of the flower, just to give it a bit of depth.

I used Elizabeth Crafts - Dotted Scalloped Ovals to frame the image up. I then added pearls to the dots in the frame. I also used the circles for the sentiment, and outlined that with the memento inks as well.

Thanks so much for checking out my card today! I hope you have a great day!

Teddy Love

Hello!

I hope you take a second and stop by the Dies R Us store because there are SO MANY GOODIES!

Today, I am sharing a card made for a special day on Friday - Valentine's Day!

These conversation hearts by Cherry Lynn are fantastic! They give a pop to any love themed card. I started off chalking them to create the more pastel tones, but decided to ink them instead.

A heart seems to be a pretty basic shape, but this heart by Elizabeth Crafts gives a fun new twist on the shape.

This teddy bear from Cheery Lynn Designs is the cutest! It cuts as one color, but I cut it out a second time in red to piece the hearts on to the bear. Then I just stuck him on a black piece of cardstock and fussy cut around the image so he'd have definition in the heart, and facial features.

Thanks so much for checking out my card today! I hope you have a great day!

Nautical Wishes

Welcome back DRU fans.  Today, I am sharing a masculine nautical card. I love all things beach themed and decided to turn it into a card.  I hope you take a second and stop by the Dies R Us store because there are SO MANY GOODIES!

This one was pretty simple to put together, and it's partly because of the Marianne Designs dies! They turn any project into an effortless masterpiece.

Here is the inside of the card with the birthday wishes!

Fine Line Glue Applicator

I used a few dies from Marianne Designs.  Dies R Us often have special order sales and it's during these sales that you can purchase overseas dies at a very reasonable price.  The best way to know about these special order sales is to subscribe to their newsletter.
