Nautical Wishes

Welcome back DRU fans.  Today, I am sharing a masculine nautical card. I love all things beach themed and decided to turn it into a card.  I hope you take a second and stop by the Dies R Us store because there are SO MANY GOODIES!

This one was pretty simple to put together, and it's partly because of the Marianne Designs dies! They turn any project into an effortless masterpiece.

Here is the inside of the card with the birthday wishes!

I used a few dies from Marianne Designs.  Dies R Us often have special order sales and it's during these sales that you can purchase overseas dies at a very reasonable price.  The best way to know about these special order sales is to subscribe to their newsletter.

Thanks so much for checking out my card today! I hope you have a great day and that I was able to inspire you to use your dies, create a project, and come play along with us at Dies R Us Challenges for your chance to win a gift voucher to the Dies R Us store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of every month.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.

Halloween Set of Cards!

Hello y'all!

I am so excited to be one of the newest DT member's here at Dies R Us!

Today, I am sharing a card set I made for Halloween. They were quick to put together, but have such a cool effect. I personally love creating backgrounds with the Memento Inks because you can create so many different scenes!

My first step was to cut out a circle to use it as a mask to create the moon!
I created my scene with the colors from light to dark - Sweet Plum, Grape Jelly, Elderberry, Paris Dusk, London Fog, Tuxedo Black -

My next step was to use my Cut 'n' Boss to cut out all my different dies. Once those were cut, I assembled it to the card and placed the witch over the moon. I used some scrap yellow cardstock to place behind the pumpkins and the haunted house - just to give it a little PIZAZZ!

I run an LA Based Fashion Company and have a few girls with subscriptions boxes! These were the cards I created to put in their subscription boxes this month! The little ghosts were actually part of a Halloween Party Paper Cut out set.
