Happy Tuesday fellow crafters!
IT'S CHALLENGE TIME!
It's time for another challenge over at Clear it Out Challenges!
The goal with these challenges is to clear out your stash, you know the stuff you've been holding on to, or things that you just don't know what to do with? As well as have fun!
This week’s challenge:
Theme/Stash: A YEAR TO REMEMBER
This challenge is SUPER easy! All you have to do is link up your favorite creation from 2014! (Yes, backlinking is okay for this challenge!) This challenge will last TWO weeks and will be end on January 6, 2015.
Our sponsors this week are:
*This store is closing on January 31, 2015 - Check out their amazing sales going on now!*
I used a wonderful image set from DeeDee's Digis called "Pink Christmas" which you can pick up in their store right now for $0.75!!!
Here's the finished card! I feel like my coloring skills are improving and I'm hoping to start taking Kit & Clowder Coloring Classes pretty soon!
How cute is this Santa Flamingo?
Difficult to see but I used a GellyRoll Star dust pen to make the lights sparkle.
I got sick of this rainy, cold (ish) weather here in Texas and decided to create something Tropical and Warm! When I used to live in South Africa, we celebrated Christmas in the middle of Summer - So I suppose you can say I was reminiscing of a warm Christmas! :)
The following items were used to create this card:
Yellow, Blue, Tan Papers - Stash
Bronze Silhouette Sketch Pen
Sun & Waves Cut Files - Silhouette Online Store
Snow Marker
Stardust Pen
Spectrum Noir Markers
- The Palm Tree was created using the Palette Blending Technique
If you need some inspiration for this challenge head on over to Clear it Out Challenges to check out what the other team members came up with as well! Now it's your turn! Join in the fun and don't forget to link your project to Clear It Out Challenges # 59: A Year to Remember!
This is just too cute! I love everything about it! And yes, I too miss the warm South African Christmases spent at the beach or at the poolside :-)
