Faery Ink ~ August Release

Hello there!

So the lovely Amanda has restructured some things around Faery Ink! Instead of having a New Release every month, she has decided to release new images EVERY FRIDAY! 

We have also moved over to a new site, and there are no longer monthly challenges over at the blog - Faery Ink

Instead - there are monthly challenges going on the Facebook Group - be sure to pop by and share all things Faery Ink we all love to see them!

This particular New Image is called: Gabbie Sea Baubles

Here's my take on the image:

I just love mermaids, and nautical things (in case you haven't noticed)! However, I decided to try this gal in colored pencils! Boy oh boy - that was a lot of hair to color but it was so fun! I also attempted a new technique I learned from a Kit & Clowder monthly subscription class, and that was the drawn in scales on the mermaid's tale.
