Hello again!

It's time for another challenge over at  Pattie's Creations!

So somethings you should know about Pattie's Creations!
Pattie Gomez is a talented lady who creates some very cute images. To see for yourself go ahead and check out her Etsy Shop
She designs with a special little girl in mind called Pattieboop and her trust sidekick Allie! Pattie describes them below:

"Pattieboop is an 11 year old girl who is very opinionated. She was created by me, Pattie Gomez on September 7, 2009. Pattieboop is an average 11 year old and she loves dressing up. She is very petite in nature but stands tall because her mother always told her that “If you stand tall you will one day become someone important”. Pattieboop always remembers her mother’s words and makes sure she is noticed.
Pattieboop has a favorite pet named Allie. Allie is a slender black cat and loves playing and spending time with Pattieboop. Alllie spends most of her days napping and her nights are spent getting in to mischief…" - Pattie Gomez

So on to this month's challenge!

The challenge this month is: Father's Day or Graduation (YOUR CHOICE)

So here's what I created for this month's challenge using the image: Pocket Watch

I decided to make a Father's Day card for this month's challenge. Specifically for my husband. He is OBSESSED with watches: old, new, modern, antique, etc. etc. etc. So I thought this would be the perfect card for him. I can't take credit for the design though, I saw this on Pinterest and thought it was FANTASTIC and just had to scrap-lift it.

The following supplies were used to make this card:
 Black Cardstock - Stash
Plad Cardstock - The Guy Stack - DCWV
Heavenly White 80# Cardstock - Paper Temptress
*I do all my coloring on this cardstock! It's fabulous!*\
Bow Tie - Silhouette Cut File
White Buttons - Spare Parts
Copic Markers

Thanks for stopping by today.

HIMCR Challenge #150: Let's Hear it for the Boy

Hello Crafting Friends!

It's Saturday! Time for another challenge over at  Hiding in My Craftroom! This week's challenge is
"Let's Hear it for the Boy". This can be any project for any male, small or big!

The sponsor this week is 2 Cute Ink!

The giveaway is two Digital Images

I decided to make my card a Father's Day card, and used the image from 2 Cute Ink called Sherlock Mouse.

Here it is:

All the papers that I used are from DCWV Guy Stack. The magnifying glass was cut from the Everyday Paper Doll Cricut Cartridge. To spruce it up a little bit I added acetate so it looked like a lens, even though it's hard to see on the picture. The sentiments are all computer generated.

If you need some inspiration for this challenge head on over to Hiding in My Craftroom to check out what the other team members came up with as well! Now it's your turn! Join in the fun and don't forget to link your project to HIMCR #150: Let's Hear it for the Boy.
