Santa is Coming to Town!

I hope you take a second and stop by the Dies R Us store because there are SO MANY GOODIES! 

Today, I am sharing a card I made for Christmas. This one was so much fun to make - a bit more involved than what I normally do but so worth it!

This was made with non-traditional Christmas colors, but I also thought it'd be perfect for a little girl!

I used a Kraft Card base, patterned paper I got from Hobby Lobby some time ago, and of course NUMEROUS supplies you can find at Dies R Us!

I adore all of Karen Burniston's products and was able to combine a few of them to make this cute card! In this one I used the Train Pop Up Set, Train Elements, and the Twist Panel Pop Up. The other thing I love about Karen's products is the nifty YouTube Tutorial she has with everyone! You can view the ones to complete this set here!

I used an image from Lacy Sunshine - "Love Note Fairy" and Paper Temptress Paper to create this soft, and feminine card.

ALL papers are from The Paper Temptress, and this picture does not do it any justice whatsoever. The pink is a slight sparkle and shimmer to it, and it's just gorgeous! The pink and white ribbon are from there too!

Becca (who you may know from our BS Sessions) is hosting The Hop to Stop for just another day!

What is the Hop to Stop?

Well, October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and the statistics show that 1 in every 3 women will experience this within the lifetime!

The color for that cause is PURPLE! With that being said, Becca is raising awareness for this issue by throwing together a very fun link up complete with TONS of sponsors!

So, as of right now, she already has 209 link ups! How phenomenal is that?!

I have been so inspired by all the beautiful entries that I actually made a few cards for this event. One of them is below!

Another neat thing about this hop? You can send your cards into to Becca (e-mail her for her address) and she will deliver the cards to the Community Violence Intervention Center (CIVIC) in North Dakota so that the people can have them for their own personal use! Can you imagine how bright you could make someone's day by just sending them a card?

I made a card with each sponsor's delightful images. The first one is from Paper Nest Dolls and it's called Frog Princess.

How cute is that image?! Since I'm a bit of a Disney nut, I went with the green colors and I think it worked well for this card. 

This second card features the image "Bone Goth Fairy" by Lemon Shortbread

I wanted this card to be a little on the darker side, but with lots of vine-y florals. I think this card came out a little more simple than what I had pictured in my head (Don't you just hate it when that happens?) but I still like it.

Ching Chou Kuik DT Inspiration

Hello There!!

If you check out the Ching Chou Kuik FB Group, you'll see that I've shared an inspiration piece over there today as it is my turn on the DT rotation. The 2nd and 3rd Monday of every month you can see an inspirational piece from me!

I went a little CAS with it, but I'm really pleased with the end result. I think it's simple but pretty!

I used "Bethany Unicorn" for this fun project!

I enrolled in the Kit & Clowder Animal class a while back and haven't had the chance to complete any of the lessons yet, this was the perfect excuse to at least get one lesson done - Unicorns! I learned so much in just this little lesson and I can't say enough great things about the Kit & Clowder classes and community!
