Inspirational Fall card

Hey ya'll!

Today, I am sharing a card I made with an inspiration saying and fall themed! Being in southern Texas, we don't get much of a "fall" - I mean is middle of October and our high today was 90 degrees!

 Although this might not qualify as CAS, it's CAS for me! Have I mentioned how much I love Memento Inks?? 

I started this card with one of my newest dies by Penny Black, the Fall Leave Squares and immediately thought of SO MANY things you could do with this! However, I landed on this idea. 

If you're anything like me you have some tiny scraps of paper that you just can't throw out because they're too pretty! WELL, I'm here to tell you that these are PERFECT for those tiny pieces. I cut each pattern paper at 1 1/4 in x 1 1/4 in.

I chose the Avery Elle Sentimental too stamp & die set because I JUST LOVE those fanciful words you can use to go across the card.

Pocket Letters seem to be a bit of a craze lately, so I just had to dive on into it. Although this is not my first pocket letter, it was still time consuming to make. I never know what to put where!

 

How cute is she? I love her beautiful golden locks! So much fun to color

How cute is she?! I got the Juke Box from the Silhouette Store and the Music Notes are a Studio G punch that I have had FOREVER, and NEVER used! So glad I finally got to use it! It's kind of hard to tell, but the Pink Paper is embossed with a Darice "Records" Embossing Folder.

Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration!

Hello There!!

If you check out the Ching Chou Kuik FB Group, you'll see that I've shared an inspiration piece over there today as it is my turn on the DT rotation. The 2nd and 3rd Monday of every month you can see an inspirational piece from me!

The image I used is called Blue Sea Illusion and you can find this image and MANY other fabulous images of at the Ching Chou Kuik Etsy shop.

Here is what I created:

I know the title of the image is "blue" sea illusion - but for whatever reason I pictured her in bright jade green colors with hints of purple. So that is what I did! I love how this came out. The Silhouette store has a really nice side step card template with the little flourish on top, and it makes it SO much easier than trying to fold, cut, and measure manually. Who has time for that?!

Nurse Graduation Card ~ Paper Temptress Inspiration

HELLO FRIENDS!

If you check out the Paper Temptress Blog today, you'll see that I'm providing some inspiration while working with some amazing cardstocks, and papers!

I was commissioned to make a Nurse Graduation Card for a friend of mine. I looked ALL OVER THE PLACE - and couldn't find a template for the scrubs. So, I just made my own SVG file for it. Much simpilar than I thought, and if you'd like to use it - please just e-mail me! 

The scrubs are orange because that is the recipients favorite color! I thought it looked to plain though, so I embossed it with Chevrons and the pocket is embossed with Swiss Dots!

So for this Invitation set I used the following products:

Cosmic Orange - Scrubs & Pocket

Black  - Stethoscope
Silver Metallic Glossy - Stethoscope
Heavenly White 80# - Bandaid (inked for color) & Badge

I also used:

Gem - Used for the "clip" for the badge
Computer Generated Badge with Recipient's Name
