I made this card using "Gabbie Butterfly Fae"

I thought this image was just sooo pretty and dainty that I didn't want to add a lot to this card so I didn't take away from her. So I found the PERFECT inspiration from Pinterest. The following is the original card.

Nikki Burnette Challenge #6 ~Make it Sparkle!

Hello there!

It's time for another bi-weekly challenge with Nikki Burnette!

Nikki Burnette has some wonderful, whimsical images that you just HAVE to go and check out! You can find those fantasy art digital images and more over at the Etsy shop!

Nikki Burnette also has a fan group on Facebook, in which you can find TONS of inspiration, sneak peeks, auctions, and other fun things about Nikki and her delightful art.

The challenge is: Make it Sparkle!
SO here is what I came up with using the image called "Rowenia"

Here's how I interpreted this lovely image:

I went for a non-traditional type of sparkle! In all grey scale with glittery silver paper, the entire image sprayed with glitter mist, and a wink of stella in some strategic points!

Want to know how to color in Grey Scale? Check back on the 17th for our 4th BS Session! Don't know what the BS Sessions are? Click HERE!

Feel free to stop by the Nikki Burnette Challenge Blog and link up your project! The challenges are bi-weekly so you have until then to link up!

Thanks for stopping by!

HUGS,

Faery Ink - New Release & FB Monthly Challenge

Hello there!

So the lovely Amanda has restructured somethings around Faery Ink! Instead of having a New Release every month, she has decided to release new images EVERY FRIDAY!

We have also moved over to a new site, and there are no longer monthly challenges over at the blog - Faery Ink

Instead - there are monthly challenges going on the Facebook Group - be sure to pop by and share all things Faery Ink we all love to see them!

Also, the Etsy store is no longer being used but have no fear! You can still purchase your favorite images HERE!

This particular New Image is called: Snow White & Rose Red (I just love Fairy Tales - trust me you're going to wanna see the rest of this release!)

I kinda did an opposites concept - but I'm not quite sure that's how it came across? Lol
Traditionally all things Red should have gone with Rose Red (The girl with the silk black hair) and all things white should have gone with Snow White.

The following supplies were used to make this card:
Red Paper, Black Cardstock - Stash
Vintage Silver Lustre - The Paper Temptress
Heavenly White 80# Cardstock - The Paper Temptress
*I do all my coloring on this - It's SUPER!*

Pearls & Rhinestones - Recollections
Big Red Flower - Magnolia Flowers
Big White Flower - Recollections
Small Roses - Wild Orchid Crafts
Red Gypsophila - Wild Orchid Crafts

Pattie's Creations Challenge # 110: May Flowers

Hello again!

It's time for another challenge over at  Pattie's Creations!

Grab My Badge to Add to Your Sidebar

So somethings you should know about Pattie's Creations!
Pattie Gomez is a talented lady who creates some very cute images. To see for yourself go ahead and check out her Etsy Shop
She designs with a special little girl in mind called Pattieboop and her trust sidekick Allie! Pattie describes them below:

"Pattieboop is an 11 year old girl who is very opinionated. She was created by me, Pattie Gomez on September 7, 2009. Pattieboop is an average 11 year old and she loves dressing up. She is very petite in nature but stands tall because her mother always told her that “If you stand tall you will one day become someone important”. Pattieboop always remembers her mother’s words and makes sure she is noticed.
Pattieboop has a favorite pet named Allie. Allie is a slender black cat and loves playing and spending time with Pattieboop. Alllie spends most of her days napping and her nights are spent getting in to mischief…" - Pattie Gomez
