Sassy Studio Designs ~ January Progressive Facebook Challenge

Hello there!

It's the 1st of the month, which means that over at Sassy Studio Designs Facebook Group we are having our progressive monthly challenge!

This month your challenge is to create a project featuring Stroke of Midnight - WHICH YOU CAN GET FOR FREE.

You can get this image FOR FREE if you play along in our challenge. Please visit the Facebook Group to read all challenge rules.

Here is what I created for this month's progressive challenge!

This was so much fun to put together! A circle easel card with a star shaker in the middle!
The dress technique is something from this month's Create & Learn Class at Kit & Clowder. The Sweater is actually a technique Alyce taught for a MERMAID TAIL - but I think it works as a sweater too ;)

Copic Colors Used - In order from lightest to darkest:

Skin -  Guy - E04, E11, E21, E00, E000 Girl - E15, E13, E11, E00 + R20 (Blush)

HIMCR Challenge #197 - Any Holiday

Are you ready for another challenge over at Hiding in My Craftroom!?

This week's challenge is Any Holiday - It is also my last challenge as a HIMCR DT member. I've had so much fun on this DT!

Our sponsor this week is: The Paper Shelter
Prize: 2 images

I've really been trying out a bunch of different folds, but I find it difficult to find clear tutorials on them all or I have an issue trying to think of what to search for.... and then I found this AWESOME link on Beccy's Place Blog - A to Z of folded cards! Every card fold you can imagine and almost all of them have tutorials too!! This is a diamond fold card and I just LOVE how it turned out!

For this week I made a New Year's card, for whatever reason the image "Tango" reminded me of it.

The following items were used to create this card:
Striped, black, white Cardstock - Stash
Border Punch - Fiskars
Sentiments - Computer Generated

If you need some inspiration for this challenge head on over to Hiding in My Craftroom to check out what the other team members came up with as well! Now it's your turn! Join in the fun and don't forget to link your project to HIMCR Challenge # 197: Any Holiday
