Ching-Chou Kuik Facebook Monthly Challenge ~ Celebrate!

Hello There!!

It's the first of the month which means, it's time for new monthly challenge over at the Ching Chou Kuik FB Page!

This month's challenge is Celebrate!

My (crafting) New Year's Resolution is to branch out of my creative shell a little bit!! I did pretty good last year, and started doing mixed media which is A TON OF FUN! So this card is using colors I wouldn't ordinarily use. I always seem to be drawn to black, or pink! So I went with blue and yellow! I love how this card came out - I hope you do too. Another crafting resolution is to start posting what Copic's I've used for the images! I get a few questions here and there about what colors I used, so here ya go. :)

Sassy Studio Designs ~ January Progressive Facebook Challenge

This was so much fun to put together! A circle easel card with a star shaker in the middle!
The dress technique is something from this month's Create & Learn Class at Kit & Clowder. The Sweater is actually a technique Alyce taught for a MERMAID TAIL - but I think it works as a sweater too ;)

Faery Ink Monthly Facebook Challenge: Height!

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's time for another monthly Facebook challenge over at the Faery Ink Facebook Page! 

This month's challenge is Height!

 I used one of the newest images in the Faery Ink Shop to create my project for this challenge! This image is called Faery Owl Night!

Here is what I create with this gorgeous image:

This image is just so beautiful I made her the card! No other fuss, diecuts, embellies - JUST the image. I did mat her with Navy Blue, and Purple cardstock though. I put this image in my Silhouette Studio and cut JUST the fairy out that so that I could giver her "height" with pop dots. I don't normally do images this big, but this was SO much fun! Coloring her was just a dream.

Faery Ink October Facebook Challenge ~ Halloween

So this can be a creature that is by it's self - or with a character however it cannot be of a human nature such as mermaid, faery, etc. The creature though, can be real or mythological!

There's all kinds of little creatures in this image including a bird and two little mice! I thought this would be cute as a Halloween Witch Party so I pulled out some Halloween themed papers an went to town.

I'm slowly working on my daughter's Scrapbook, and decided to use this cute Leprechaun and swirlie sentiment to create my daughters 1st St. Patricks Day! I will still go back and add a journal bubble at some point, but for the time being I'm just not sure where I want tot put it.

I have never had enough courage to try and do one of these gray scale cards - so when I saw this was the challenge for the FB group I had a mini panic attack! However, I decided that this year I was going to try anything and everything. So I gave it shot and I had an absolute BLAST doing this - it was a challenge but it was so much fun! I really hope you have enough courage to try it out!
